We were looking for a tourist map so we could walk or use public transportation in Dublin for a couple of days. This map is easy to read and is on heavy, water-proof paper. It covers the area we want and in as much detail as we want. This will work well with info from my guide book and info that I gather on-line before the trip. It is not for people who want to drive around in Ireland. It is for people like me who want to arrive by plane or train and walk around the town center.
We had a very good experience and were able to find our way around with this map. It was very helpful to have the level of detail not available on hand-out maps from travel and tourist services.
The map is NOT waterproof. Only the case is. The map itself is made of cheap paper.
Fantastic view of the city. Durable. Detailed enough to feel comfortable walking through the city. Would use this series again for another city.
The map has some inaccuracies, but is adequate. Also while the case may be waterproof the map itself is not, and it is quite flimsy.
