this is a timely and extremely important book by Michael Youssef on a life endangering topic, terrorism in the name of Religion. The author is the leading Pastor of a Chuch in Atlanta , Georgia. The author grew up in a Muslim dominated country as a Christian and as a result he has a unique perspective on the motivations and methods of Islamic extremist terrorists who he rightly calls Barbarians. As stated in the title and throughout the text , they are here and their aim is to tear down what civilization we haven't torn down ourselves and replace it with Sharia law. As mentioned in Ch.1, Islamist are flooding into Western countries often disguised as refugees, they are using our political, legal and economic system against us. In the name of compassion we are enabling this conquest. Youssef claims that the Christian faith has been contaminated and diluted by todays culture which is all about the self not Jesus. He claims that Americans in general and specifically Christians have become soft and vulnerable to false gospels and submission to conquest by those who wish to turn churches into mosques. According to Youssef people live in one of two cities; the city of Man or the city of God. As explained most of todays culture live in the city of man and the reader will readily recognize this through the authors descriptions. The city of God is made up of those who live a righteous life in accord with the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and are not adversely affected by todays self-obsessed, negative , violent and salacious culture. Youssef claims that like the Roman Empire , we are headed for collapse unless Christians recognize the Barbarians and the wolves in sheeps' clothing. The author proposes a new Reformation to stand in opposition to the city of man and show the face of authentic biblical Christianity , that shows true faith and love and refuses to back down to the threats and actions of the enemy within and without our country. This book should be read by all, in particular the politicians who continue to tear down the Country while caving in to every group under the sun for fear of alienating and offending them. It is time to wake up and not go gently into the night. Know your enemy, read this book, protect yourself and your friends and family from the Barbarians. Recommended.
Dr. Youssef knows and understands the Bible and speaks the truth. His Egyptian background gives him insight into the Muslim understanding of their God and he a tremendoes love for the Muslim people. Dr. Youssef has a tremendous ministry here in this Country and a love for God's people. But God has given him a burning desire to let all of us know what the Bible says is coming upon us very shortly. Please read this book.
Dr. Youssef has a middle eastern view of Christianity. He has seen the other side. We Christians in America have not suffered severe Persecution yet. American's are Blessed beyond measure. We take freedom for granted.
The book presents a choice to the reader. Are you a member of the City of God or are you a member of the City of Man! He presents a well written explanation of why Western Civilization is on the decline and how it's being co-opted into making poor choices contrary to best interests. He lays out .how we are being deceived and led to our destruction by people who think they will be exempt from the disaster!
One of the best reads about what in the heck is going on today and how to 'live' in this upside-down world. Dr. Youssef presents masterful insights / realities; he is a foremost leader in not only how we got into this devastating mess of a world but, how we will get out. And, it not rocket-science.......yet will serve humity much better. IMHO, a must ready for anyone who wants to get out of this world alive!........and enjoy some peace while here.

This book is amazing. It is telling the TRUTH about Islam, modern-day church beliefs, everything......I loved it so much I gave my first one away and bought another. Everyone needs to read this book!
