Definitely a good reference for myself who wants to master persuasion and I’ve read many books on mind control and manipulations, however this book has served its purpose so well that I’m so convinced and this has really manipulated my thoughts and i am reading this book because I know this world is loaded with manipulative individuals, and keeping in mind the end goal to survive I have to l win the controller's diversion, so they can't play it with me and this book does an excellent job phrasing and explaining important details fundamental to every aspiring body language readers and for a primary book on body language, it's a solid choice and manipulation is everywhere in today’s busiest life and we are more prone to getting manipulated by false advertisement of some people and they try to control us by all ways possible and this book has taught me how to have a positive body language and a good non-verbal communication for effective manipulation techniques and this book is all about the technique on manipulation and the mistakes that we normally make while following the strategy and it goes beyond manipulation and makes us realize that with the techniques mentioned in the book we could get our works done very efficiently.
Within the first few chapters the book was very informative. As the book went on, the information became all about abusive relationships. The author kind of switched focus to only that form of manipulation.Also there were a ton of grammatical errors throughout the text. You will also find tons of repetition within the chapters. I'm only giving this book a 3 because some of the information was interesting.
I think it's not so important to resist any manipulation, but to be able to determine that there are people who are trying to manipulate and then decide for yourself - to succumb to provocations or have it your own way. With such a conscious approach, manipulation can even be turned into an innocuous and exciting game. How to avoid becoming a victim of a manipulator and many other answers can be found here. Informative reading it was for me
This book will help you learn and understand more about Manipulation . Be able to fight and deal with that when you're in any situations. The book was perfectly written in a very simple way for better and easier understanding.
Manipulation: How to Deal and Fight Back, has a lot of eye opening information. This book has opened my eyes to a lot of current and past situations that I have been in. I love how this book has quiz like questions to help determine whether or not you are in a toxic relationship. I highly recommend this book. Everyone can get something out of this book.
Manipulation is a page turner. This book is scholarly written which makes it more credible to read. Right from the very beginning, I loved how the author interconnected sociology and psychology and how one would affect the other. Overall, it's a good book to raise a reader's awareness about the topic.
This is a really great guide for dealing with people in life. There are so many manipulators out there. One thing he says is to think for yourself, and do not put yourself in a place where you have to depend on anyone. That says so much. People get taken in all the time. I have been myself. I will keep this book and refer to it as needed. Great read!
This is a perfect book to learn about how to manipulate people and how can we use them for our own goals and objectives.
