This is a delightful little music book and exactly what I was looking for. I would just suggest purchasing the paperback version rather than the Kindle version. It is just too much information for the Kindle screen. I suppose if you wanted to download the Kindle for Desktop app and play it from a computer screen, it might work. But honestly? Just buy the paperback.
This was a great book for my Disney-loving Uke-playing self. It reads easily with tabs above each chord change. I'm a beginner, so this is necessary for me at this time.My only complaint is that one or two songs require a page turn, which is difficult when both hands are occupied with, you know, playing the ukulele.I would love to see a sequel or two to this one! More songs, more movies covered!
I bought this to go along with the ukulele that I bought for my husband for Christmas. He loves the book and has told me this several times in the first few days how happy he is to have Disney songs to play. Some of his beginner favorites are zip-a-dee-doo-da and Chim-chiminee. It is also helpful because it has the actual sheet music for the songs, but then has the cords listed with the music, along with the words.
A little too complex for my daughter. (she's 12 and a beginner). No strumming pattern shown and no notes labeled. Just regular type sheet music. May not be a problem for most, but it was for her.
I simply love all the songs in this book. I got the kindle version which I think works just fine, if you can I would buy the digital copy - it'll never fray and it will always be an easy reference to pull up.
Ukulele should be strung to a low G to play all of these songs. Loves the book and the songs. I just had to change that one string.
This is totally weird. the score is not written for standard tuning ukulele, if you look at "a dream is your heart make" it teaches you to start on the lowest note on standing tuning "C" then the third note goes just half step lower. someone teach me how to do that.
The Disney tunes included in this section are, for the most part, classics. There are a couple that I have never run into, though, and my music reading skills are insufficient to the task of cold playing them.
